Bill has over 30 years of experience in accounting and taxation and is responsible for providing firm and client updates on relevant Federal and State tax matters of interest.  Bill is also for responsible tax planning and compliance involving large flow-through entities and business owners principally in the following industries:  Art Galleries, Artists, Importers Of Apparel, Other Manufacturers, Real Estate, Professional Service firms and Exempt Organizations.  Bill has successfully represented clients before the Internal Revenue Service, New York State & City as well as other jurisdictions in Individual, Corporate, Estate, Gift, Employment Tax as well as Sales & Use and New York City Unincorporated Business & Commercial Rent Tax matters.


As a result of the most recent Federal Tax Cuts & Jobs Act, Bill has directed potential client tax savings in excess of $1MM.  In addition, his recognition of certain state tax refund opportunities saved a client hundreds of thousands of dollars.


Bill’s prior experience with a large closely held media Company enabled him to work with ultra- high net worth stockholders and extended family members and in that role he provided tax planning/consulting and compliance in personal/estate and gift tax as well as compensation and benefit matters.  He worked closely with inside and outside counsel in developing sophisticated income and estate tax reduction strategies.
