Public accounting firms in New York State with three or more professionals are required to go through a peer review once every three years. A peer review is a systematic review of a firm's accounting and auditing services performed by a peer reviewer who is not affiliated with the firm being reviewed, to ensure work performed on attest engagements conforms to the professional standards of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants

LM Cohen & Company has undergone a peer review in July 2011, July 2014, and May 2017 all of which they are proud to announce that they received a rating of “pass”, the highest rating available, thanks to the talented professionals that it employs. Here, at LM Cohen & Company, we pride ourselves on being the best in the industry by adhering to the professional standards and redefining accounting each and every day. As we look forward to our next peer review in 2020, we invite you to view our latest peer review reports here.
